Peek’n Peak Fall Fest is one of the many fun seasonal events in Chautauqua County close to our hotel. Staying at our beautiful hotel in late October is a time of seasonal color, autumn fun, and lively festival activities! We offer a Fall Fest special package, to help you enjoy all the best the festival has to offer, while staying in boutique, apartment-style comfort.
The last two weekends of October transform Peek’n Peak Resort, just minutes from our hotel, into a seasonal weekend getaway. In addition to all the fun things to do in Chautauqua County available all year round, Fall Fest puts together a rotating showcase of artisanal crafts, farmer’s market bounty, and activities. Watch the pumpkin cannon shoot squash into the air, as your little ones enjoy the petting zoo and pony rides!
The weekend after Peek’n Peak’s Fall Fest keeps the fun going, when the resort also hosts a German-style party. Wash down the Wurst Weekend’s traditional Bavarian folk music and dancing with pretzels, sausages, and, of course, local and German beer!
In addition to the festivities at Peek’n Peak Resort nearby, you can rent a bike with us to see the beautiful colors of Chautauqua County’s trees. The colors are always changing in the fall, and our hotel staff will have helpful recommendations to the best trails and best colors to admire while you stay with us!
In the winter, enjoy alpine and cross country skiing from early December through late March or April. Peek’n Peak has 27 groomed slopes, miles of cross-country trails, and eight chairlifts to ensure short lines. With an average annual snowfall of over 250 inches, there are endless possibilities for snowboarding, snow tubing, snow mobiling, and more. In the summer, the trails transform into hiking and cycling routes with sweeping mountain views
